Helping my Child at School

We in St. Philomena's actively encourage the involvement of parents in the educational development of your children. There are many ways you can do this:

 

 

  • Completing feedback forms when they are issued. These help us improve our provision for your child.
  • Attending parent reporting evenings.
  • Informing us of any relevant issues that may be affecting your child in school.
  • Attending school events, sports day, plays.
  • Serving on the Parent Council.
  • Supporting Parent Teacher Association.
  • Supporting play activities.
  • Lending us your expertise in subjects related to the curriculum.
  • Accompanying us on trips.
  • Reading our newsletters and curriculum newsletters.
  • Asking you child "What they are learning in school?"
  • Helping your child with homework.
